COMMUNITY CENTER - Nursery – Multipurpose room
AIMS:

- Improve the food situation, individual, family and community
- To act as a reference in the neighborhood, in defense of the rights to food and health, especially in children and the elderly.
- Social Project design nutrition education from the identification of food and general social reality in neighborhoods
- Developing strategies for implementing actions, grounded in reality each neighborhood comprehensive.
- Build a social educational community process, recreative, sports and training through community kitchen - Nursery – SUM, and saw this as a challenge to the consolidation of a comprehensive food policy
- It is essential, identification, understanding and transmission of social work in this scenario (Soup kitchen), that goes beyond the provision of food service.

CURRENT SITUATION.

The slum, needs and problems faced daily: joblessness, general malnutrition, and even children and the elderly, unhygienic sanitation and slum housing (potable water - waste - sewage), undoubted areas that are inhabited, lack of areas for recreation and sport, lack of basic infrastructure and other.

This whole situation generally, Also you can check in varying degrees of complexity of these problems and diagnosis, in all towns and cities, and check this situation by means of perception through the site visit and statistics available in national censuses.

PROPOSAL

- Thought to the soup kitchen - Nursery - Multipurpose Room, from another perspective to provide elements to address current issues associated with this and consequently the neighborhood, such as: the atmosphere of the neighborhood, the culture of the neighborhood, job training in trades, improving existing trades, the primary health care, improving housing and basic infrastructure, recreation and sport and social inclusion; All these actions are possible through a humane and ethical, and implemented by public policies and inter-organizational and participatory forms real and concrete of slum.
- Obtaining objective, a covenant agency and citizen responsibilities through their organizations, for the long term sustainability of community kitchens - SUM Kindergartens and set goals to medium and long term to fulfill all solutions to existing needs in neighborhoods.
FOR geometry

In the general nature, geometry makes the arrangement of matter that is aimed at the development of the forms contained in the lives of all living.

In the evolution of forms, exists and this is based economy both in geometry, ordering the material in extent and time.

That geometry, is a law of becoming material and stability in diversity, geometry is considered a system typologies of shapes and volumes.

It is also seen in terms of containers containing different varieties of spaces.

The geometry breaks into Greek culture as a will seamlessly and finite, as a model of science education.

From a figure is passed to another and all of them are bound by laws of mutation and referral.

The geometry expresses the variety within unity, and where dissimilar needs more complex and different, possible greater coherence, and greater convenience in use historical.

The Moorish architecture is the one that has taken as its own geometry volumes as living spaces, hemisphere being expressed in, in barrel vaults and cylindrical, and where this technology is the amount of construction material that provides the ecosystem.

Hence, small scale the construction of various geometric shapes habitable, is a response and exact conjunction between the materials provided by the ecosystem and whether natural or processed and use these in the realization of geometric shapes.

In South America these geometric shapes, people build them with a hemisphere, and are commonly known as Creole or tatacua oven that is used for cooking, also known as coal furnace and is used for the preparation of charcoal.
With the passing of the Industrial Revolution, this makes possible the use of steel in the construction and where the use of this material in the reinforced concrete construction technique; is taken up again in Western architecture back to the vaults of the domes to the barrel vaults and shell structures and folded, materialized first and then concrete or reinforced ceramic brick. CONVENIENCE DESIGN-SPACE SUCH FORM – STRUCTURE

Weather protection: shape or circular volume itself, enables a low incidence of winds on the building.
For existing climate change, storms and storms are more frequent and more violent, for this reason the importance of building these forms of housing in rural areas.

Monolithic structure: Unlike the structure trilíptica, hemisphere is the wall and ceiling to see, without edges and vertices. The structure is constructed of bricks, with cement and sand and iron rods.
Namely, the structure uses summing, only four materials, hence the importance for rural areas this construction technique, which makes possible and facilitates displacement with few materials, to any rural.

Economy: shaping the spatial structure with only four materials, and expressed in the bricks, makes it possible to achieve a significant economic factor for the above, and the other key factor is that the masonry and roof are one structural component and constructive technical.

CLIMATE CHANGE

For the first time in the history of mankind, humans inhabiting our planet, is causing profound climate changes, in varying degrees in all territories of the continents.
According to scientific research; this is already a process of irreversible global warming and the consequences are expressed daily worldwide, with the manifestation of natural disasters of all kinds (floods, cyclones, snowstorms and hail, drought, strong winds and rain)

The dwellers in the southern hemisphere of the American continent, and more precisely the area where we live, some years we know that weather patterns have changed, from one year to the other emerging new climate variables expressed in extreme variations of heat and cold, of excessive rain or drought, of wind storms and hail, Frequently, all these inclement weather, already a problem in a situation, so from different disciplines who struggle for improving the quality of life and the general welfare in small family farms, it is imperative to search for new alternatives and solutions, to this existing reality that is climate change.

Systems architecture

Given the substantial need for thousands of square feet in the country, requirement of different design solutions such as edilicias: for the social, for the recreational sports, for education, Health, for housing and for the productive.
Is a response to this situation because now, from design system architecture called.
This includes and is generated by two elements, one is the structure and the other being the space, both together make up the basic module physical - space for the generation of a program component that requires every item of architecture.
According to the theme of the program architecture always requires major areas or served, areas of environmental services and semi public areas.

Basic requirements of the soup kitchen - SUM:
Dining - SUM, Kitchen - deposit, health, multipurpose courtyard - PUM.

Basic requirements for housing: the workshop room - dining room, dormitories, kitchen - laundry - health, Gallery - bower - arborization.

Basic requirements for education: classrooms, administration, multipurpose room (SUM) - Multipurpose courtyard (PUM), Kitchen - deposit, health.

Design requirements

Depending on the topic of social architecture, which should be a response to the: historical juncture, the need (according to statistics and perception), the economy, to the ecological environment, to sociocultural, to construction technology, to standards, collective historical memory, and organizationally - participatory society rather.
For each design process must take into account variables such as the following: the local climate, field (the dimensions, soil type, vegetation, fauna, slope, whether or not you inunda, existing building), street location, orientation, locals and their degree of organization and participatory, materials and construction techniques.
These requirements often are alike, where for subsequent design the final result including the contribution each designer, forms and spaces will always be unique within a common visual language and collective social.

SUBTROPICAL CLIMATE PROTECTION

Design Concept for
To counter the high temperatures of summer, in design is advisable to take into account the following basic premises:
Using vegetation to protect against solar radiation and wind storms.
• That each spatial volume built, drafts occurring cross, for better thermal comfort optimization.
• It is desirable to perform the treatment of the outer walls (east-west) and ceilings with light colors, reflective of solar radiation.
• The axis of the volume of greater length, is convenient to orient the meridians east-west.

• Accesses: We recommend the creation of a link between the interior space and exterior volume, makes it possible to protect the access of rain and solar radiation.

• Openings: It should be taken into account in the design, Also proper opening protection against weather (sun – rain), with masonry withdrawals, with eaves, with galleries and other.

The formation of an air gap between the surface of the window glass and surface darkening, either shade or wood blind, makes possible a better thermal control of the interior space.

• Vegetation: This type of climate, makes possible all year round, do about the environment of the building, with sports, recreation and culture.

So planting trees, utilization as the shadow, and implementing parraleras booths like ceilings and vegetables are critical to subtropical climates.

Construction Technology

It is proposed architecture design, the use of materials from the area, conform them to employ techniques built for future building construction.

This environmental unit, within the territory offers abundant sand, this because, a result of the extinction of riverbeds; This item is part of all types of mortars to prepare for use in the various items that constitute the building construction. This know how to use the available natural resource site, makes it possible to lower the total cost of building complex enterprise and in turn produces a visual language and aesthetic own distinct.

Thus is continuous in the region and strengthens traditional technology damp brick construction and use of natural resources through its physical- chemical, handling all this construction technology facilitates the solution of some of the most difficult problems to solve, which is to have a proper and dignified community space.

Normally in any social housing is easier to build walls, ceilings but lacks sufficient, hence, brick building on all the technology and knowledge we have of the same, proposed for roofs, the use of armed brick panels, these are easy and fast construction, also, is considerably more economical than other types square meter of roof construction techniques.

The foundations and masonry walls, are provided and used rubble and bricks, brickworks from that found in the project area.

BRICK

The film structures for small brick surfaces and volumes, are of simple construction, simple, economic, strong, safe and spacious.

Also the technical and performance technique are easily understood by technical professionals, construction workers and the general community.

The management and execution of such spatial structure is made of easy realization, where the relationship between weight and strength of materials, logically act jointly forming a good relationship.
Mechanical strength: Posen high mechanical strength and their quality can be achieved according to 200 Kg/cm2 a 1000 Kg/cm2.
Frivolity: The fired clay bricks expressed, makes it possible to achieve a higher lightness concrete.
Elasticity: At equal strength with concrete, the brick has a stiffer modulus, is an advantage, brick structure is better suited to deformations.
Good aging: With minimal care and maintenance, brick structure has a good aging over time.
Also more resistant than concrete sudden temperature changes.
Thermal Insulation: The mass of baked earth produces good thermal insulation, bricks and where further increase the insulation.
Acoustics: It has a better noise performance than concrete, by having a good sound absorption coefficient, brick also adheres easily, the different types of materials that have a good acoustic behavior.
Moisture: It has a large capacity in interiors, regulating the humidity.
Teplootdachu: The brick surface relative to that of reinforced concrete, take the most irradiation indoor heat in the winter, and radiate less heat in the summer.
Costs: The cost of the brick structure to that of the reinforced concrete is very low, you can get a price per square meter of floor area and building volume, not easily achievable with quality materials equivalent.
Labor: The economy of materials, not independent of natural ease and widespread that workers have to learn this type of building technology; as these are descended from peoples of building tradition.
Historical necessity: The large and chronic deficits that have social housing, the situation of social and economic impoverishment of rural and peripheral urban worker, and makes it possible to create the conditions necessary, to develop these skills of construction technology of reinforced brick.
